1. HEEL SPUR

Heel spur is an extra growth of the heel bone, often exhibiting itself as pain on walking after prolonged rest. The patient often complains of pain in the morning on taking the first few steps after waking up.

2. PLANTAR FASCIITIS

Plantar fasciitis is the most common cause of pain on the bottom of the heel. When the plantar fascia, the supporting, shock absorbing arch of the foot, is subjected to high stresses or strains, it becomes inflamed and causes discomfort and pain.
